All items on sale have a reserve. The reserve price is the lowest price at which the Seller is willing to sell an item. The reserve price is not disclosed to bidders. The Seller is then able to refuse to sell the item if the market value is below a certain price.

The Price Guide column gives an idea of what the item is currently likely to be worth (Millers Guides and Ebay), and the price at which a Buyer can buy immediately without bidding. *See "Buy Now" below. When the bids come in, the item will be marked "Reserve Met" if and when the reserve price has been met. The Bidder is also notified that his or her bid met the reserve.

If the reserve price is not met, neither the Seller nor the Highest Bidder is under any further obligation.*

Privacy

Bidders' email addresses will not be disclosed. Only the Seller and the Highest Bidder will be notified via email when the auction is over.

We also give the Buyer the chance to buy an item at a specified price (this is the Price Guide column) without bidding. You can buy instantly or can bid on the item in the usual way. The "Buy Now" will not be available once a bid is placed or the reserve price met.

Please Note: If you are emailing us - please make it clear if you are going to be bidding or if you are a "Buy Now" customer.

Also: Please be sure to write the Item Number and Description to save confusion. You may end up bidding for or buying the wrong item. With Collectables added daily, there may be the same or similar items for Auction.

When the Auction has ended - seven days after the first bid - the item will be marked ON HOLD until the bidder has paid and the cheque has cleared or cash received. Then marked SOLD

With "Buy Now" - the item will be marked ON HOLD until the Customer's payment clears or cash is received. It will then be marked SOLD

If, in either case payment is not received with seven days - the item will go back up for sale - enabling the Bids or "Buy Now" to start again.

* If the Reserve is not met the item will go back up for sale enabling the Bids or Buy Now to start again
